I just went over to Shogun 2 boards to see if some good mods were already released, to consider whether I should buy this game. Glad to see there's already full-fledged mod of the DM series around, so I need to look no further. WebRadious doesn't give a crap about realism, it's a lot more arcade-like than even vanilla. The game progresses much faster, the armies are 3x larger, the AI uses the insanely large armies and everything looks and sounds much nicer. If you don't like the overhaul pack you can use parts of the smaller modules. It's more fun to me.
