WebIn this study, metal-chelated molecularly imprinted polymers ([email protected]@MIPs) were prepared for sensitive and selective detection and removal of ovalbumin (OVA) in egg white samples. The effects of sample pH, OVA concentration, eluent type, and ionic strength on the adsorption were determined and systematically discussed. WebWhile egg white showed a profile including high-mannose and hybrid type N-glycans similar to that of ovalbumin as expected (ovalbumin constitutes ~80% of egg white), the egg yolk profile indicated an abundance of high-mannose and complex type N-glycans.
