Chloe asks Max to find empty bottles for a make-shift gun range while she sets it up and drinks. Max has to explore the junkyard to find bottles hidden around the garbage. WebIt makes perfect sense that the storm (and all of the strange patterns in nature) was caused by Maxine screwing with a complex system. The idea that time (or a system) is trying to fix itself is not part of chaos theory per say but the plot does borrows certain concepts from it like unpredictability and order-disorder.
